This wouldn't happen if the GamePad came with a USB to connect to the Wii U and was circuited to transmit its data via the USB as opposed to continually using the battery even though it's plugged in Like the PS3 controller I dunno why they did it differentlyI've seen and tested the trick of jump starting the Gamepad with the battery in and taking it out afterwards, and it works, but I'm curious if you know of any successful mode of using something else different from the battery or rather the reason why it actually works without it after initial boot?

Ever since I've had my Wii U, I've noticed that the gamepad does not seem to hold a charge If I charge it to full and don't play it for maybe 4 days or so, it's completely dead I mean my 3DS is like that but at least I can understand that since the thing is Wii U Do you guys usually use "power saving mode" on your gamepads?
